All about giving blood
Red blood cells are vital for people suffering from anemia or who have severe bleeding. For example, after a serious accident or surgery. This can happen to anyone. That's why we all give for each other. Please help too!
- Who is eligible to donate blood? Fill out the donor self-test and you'll know right away if you qualify. Because in order to donate blood, there are some conditions.
- How often. You can give blood 4 times a year, at least 60 days apart.
- Duration: The donation process takes an hour. The blood draw itself about 9 minutes.
- Where. A blood draw can be done at a mobile collection near you or at one of our donor centers.
