At the Red Cross we offer a whole range of training courses for professionals. You can follow courses on different topics such as general first aid at accidents, more specific CPR training or even topics such as first aid for mental health problems. In addition, we are flexible in the set-up. You can opt for training at one of our locations or at a location of your choice. Which Corporate Training is best for me to choose?
It is best to ask yourself first if you are looking for legally required training or not. The basic training company first aid, first aid for designated persons and the refresher courses fit within the legal framework. If you want to organize a first aid course separately from these, it is best to choose, depending on your needs, a thematic or initiation lesson. If you are looking for a course that focuses on First aid for mental health problems , it is best to choose one of the FAMP courses.
From when does the fee for an evening course apply?
This rate is applicable as soon as half or more than half of the training takes place after 6 pm.
Can I take corporate training on Sundays as well?
No, company trainings are only organized on weekdays, weeknights or Saturdays. You can schedule training on weekdays at www.bedrijfsopleidingen.rodekruis.be.

Who gives the trainings?
Our professional instructors give training courses throughout the year company first aid in Dutch and English. They all have a valid first aid certificate from a recognized institute and years of experience in giving training courses company first aid. At our instructor meetings we exchange practical experiences, follow refresher courses and share good practices.
Frequently asked questions about billing
I would like a purchase order number on my invoice. How do I best provide this?
You must enter this number at the latest the day before the training via the booking platform. Under scheduled trainings you can open and change the corresponding training. You can enter the order form number in the box provided for this purpose. This will appear automatically on your invoice. You can also e-mail it to bedrijfsopleidingen@rodekruis.be, stating the name of the company, the date of the training, the name of the training and, in case of an open training, the name of the participant. Do you already know your purchase order number at the time of your booking? Then enter it immediately in the box provided for this purpose at the time of booking.
When will I receive my invoice?
Invoices are always sent after completion of training
Can I get more than one invoice for a closed course?
No, only one invoice can be created per closed course.
Are your courses eligible for SME portfolio?
For training within Belgian Red Cross-Flanders , you can take advantage of concessions through SME Portfolio. With kmo-portefeuille, SMEs can receive an annual subsidy for the company first aid training courses you organize for your employees. Our accreditation number is DV.O241524. More information about kmo-portefeuille can be found at www.kmo-portefeuille.be.
How to apply for an SME portfolio allowance? It is necessary when applying for the grant to mention in the title of the project for which training a grant is requested, "Refresher course company first aid - Organization First Aid and First Aid for Designated Persons". You apply for your recognition under the topic "Personnel Management".
Please note: Do not wait for an invoice. The application is separate from the invoice and must be made no later than 14 days after the training begins.
You can already request your allowance at the time of booking the training. Apply for it through the website kmo-portefeuille, that way you avoid a refusal.
Are your courses eligible for intervention by Constructiv?
Yes, our training courses are recognized by constructiv for employees in the construction sector. Please note: sectoral support is only granted for trainings communicated to Constructiv before the start of the training. So provide all the information in time so that you do not miss out on any financial interventions.

What are your cancellation conditions?
If you cancel before 14 days before the training starts, we will charge a €60 administrative fee.
If you cancel the training within 14 days and 7 days before the start of the training, we will charge a 50% cancellation fee, with a minimum of €60.
If you cancel the training from 7 days before the start of the training, we will charge a 100% cancellation fee.
If the training is moved to another date, the same cancellation conditions apply.

Why does Belgian Red Cross-Flanders invoice its corporate training courses without VAT?
Belgian Red Cross-Flanders invoices its corporate training courses free of VAT according to art 44. More information can be found here: VAT obligation | FOD Finances (belgium.be)
Is training company first aid from Belgian Red Cross-Flanders eligible for Flemish Training Leave (VOV)?
One of the requirements for Flemish Training Leave is the length of training. The duration of training is a minimum of 32 hours to qualify for Flemish Training Leave. Since the longest training company first aid is 21 hours, our training company first aid cannot qualify for Flemish Training Leave.

Frequently asked questions about licenses and certificates
What is the difference between a license and a certificate?
You get a brevet after completing basic training company first aid. After a refresher course you get a certificate. An initiation or theme class also provides an attendance certificate.
Will you send my certification or attestation after my completed training?
For all courses as of 01/07/2024, certifications and/or certificates will be mailed to the participant and the contact person who booked the course.
Where can I find my certificates and attestations of courses taken?
Your company's contact person can find the certifications and certificates of employees for the past 10 years on the booking platform.
