First aid for mental health problems
What do you learn?
The course "First Aid for Mental Problems" helps participants to provide in their work environment first aid when a colleague experiences mental health problems.
During this course you will learn in an interactive way:
- How to recognize signs in someone experiencing mental health problems
- How to provide targeted support to that person
- How to help him find professional help if this seems necessary
- how to take good care of yourself during this process and monitor your own limits
During this day-long training, you will spend a full day working with participants from other companies around recognizing, guiding and assisting your colleagues when they are struggling, without losing sight of your own boundaries.

This course is aimed at nonprofessionals, colleagues who want to be there for each other and are looking for the necessary tools and background to do so.
