Logistical help for WOW camps
Everyone has a right to relaxation. Also children for whom it is less obvious. That's why Belgian Red Cross-Flanders organizes vacations and camps for:
- children with disabilities from socially vulnerable families (WOW camp +)
- children from socially vulnerable families (WOW camp)
Among other things, we are looking for logistics helpers to go with us as volunteers. Something for you?
Do you recognize yourself in this?
- 18+
- 1 week (or longer) you can set yourself free
- hands-on team player and devil-do-well
- heart for children
- sense of timing and organization
What does it entail?
You do camp housekeeping
You are practical and like to roll up your sleeves. You make sure food is on the table on time, you do the shopping and you put dirty clothes and bed linen in the washing machine (and take them out again).
You assist the animators and care volunteers
Is extra help needed at WOW camp+? For example, with transportation or with guiding the children. Then you are ready. With open arms and a broad smile. Everyone can count on you.
Belgian Red Cross-Flanders Provides necessary guidance and training
- You are welcome to attend our information moment with room for a personal conversation.
- You take a number of training courses for free at Belgian Red Cross-Flanders.
- You can count on our camp director and your fellow volunteers.
