Crisis Volunteer
Through the crisis volunteer platform, Belgian Red Cross-Flanders shares requests for help from organizations, institutions or governments during moments of crisis. As a crisis volunteer, you can subscribe to a volunteer deployment of an aid applicant at that time. Therefore, there are not always active requests for help. By registering yourself, you will receive calls during crisis situations to commit to a particular request for help.
Something for you?
- You are at least 16 years old.
- You can afford to take time off at least half a day a week.
What do you get in return?
- With your solidarity, you make a big difference because you help when it really matters!
- You will be enrolled as a crisis volunteer at Belgian Red Cross-Flanders.
- Belgian Red Cross-Flanders also puts you in contact with other organizations (e.g., cities and municipalities) that need crisis volunteers temporarily and urgently: these organization(s) commit to providing insurance for crisis volunteers who are deployed, reimbursing any expenses, and generally complying with applicable regulations for the deployment of volunteers.
