Transporting the wounded in disasters
Providing disaster relief is a basic mission of the Red Cross. Thanks to our experience and expertise, the government has officially designated us as a partner. Therefore, when something happens, we immediately spring into action to help those affected. In addition to providing medical assistance to victims, we are also responsible for transporting the injured quickly and efficiently.
Quickly and efficiently transport injured persons
In a disaster situation with many people affected, it comes down to providing the necessary care to as many people as possible as quickly as possible. We try to analyze the condition of each victim. Lightly injured people we can administer initial care, seriously injured people should be transferred to the hospital as soon as possible. Is the victim's condition critical? Then we must take quick action.
Everything is accurately recorded. At any moment, we know exactly where all the ambulances are and which wounded have been taken to where. This information is crucial. Because in the chaos of a disaster, it is important that we can inform and assist families and relatives. Not only the victims of a disaster, but also their surroundings can count on psychosocial support. Because people who have been affected by a shocking event have every interest in this. We help them with the coping process.

You too can help
When things go wrong, Red Cross volunteers shoot into action immediately to save lives. They can do so because of you.
