Registration for the 2026 WOW vacations is now closed.
We do not process registrations on a first-come, first-served basis, so everyone can take their time filling out the form. Once registration closes, we’ll start scheduling, and our system will randomly select participants. In February, you’ll find out if you’re one of the lucky ones or if you’re on the waiting list. Are you on the waiting list? Then there’s still a chance that a spot will open up.

How does transportation to and from the vacation destination work?
We assume that you will arrange your own transportation to and from the accommodation. If that is not possible, we have a solution: when you register, select the option for transportation arranged by Belgian Red Cross-Flanders. For a flat fee of 50 euros per person, we will provide a comfortable round-trip journey. Caregivers, partners, and others are also welcome to take advantage of this service.
Can I receive physical therapy while on vacation?
During your vacation, you can consult a local physical therapist. This physical therapist is not always available. Therefore, before you leave, please send an email or submit your medical forms to let us know what type of therapy you need, how often, and include a prescription from your doctor. Please note that each physical therapy session costs 50 euros, payable in cash.
Please note that some physical therapy sessions may conflict with activities or outings. Therefore, if treatment is not absolutely necessary during the vacation, we recommend scheduling it before departure or upon your return. We are unable to provide physical therapy during the water sports week.
Where do I sleep?
You will be staying in a double room shared with a roommate. For water sports vacations, rooms accommodate up to 4 people. Single rooms are not available at any location.
Can I smoke?
The accommodation and large parts of the grounds are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted in the designated areas.
What about meals during the vacation?
During the vacation, we’ll serve you delicious, healthy meals prepared with low fat and salt. Are you following a special diet or allergic to a certain food ingredient? Be sure to include this information in your registration and on the forms you submit at least 3 weeks before departure. During the water sports week, a volunteer will be cooking in a non-professional kitchen. In this setting, we have more limited ability to accommodate your dietary needs.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Pets are not allowed. However, guests who rely on a guide dog or service dog may bring them along. Only a limited number of dogs are permitted in the accommodations. Please contact us in advance to find out the best time to bring your dog on vacation.
