Fire situation on Rhodes

Southern Europe is currently being ravaged by drought and heat in several locations.

The island of Rhodes in Greece has been struggling with massive fires since July 18, which has already displaced at least 20,000 people. The Greek Red Cross is currently assisting with the large-scale evacuation, providing first aid and psychosocial assistance to the many people in need. They are also assisting victims through the distribution of water and food and participating in search and rescue operations with specialized teams. Among those who had to flee are also tourists. Therefore, the Red Cross advises everyone to take precautions if you are planning a vacation to southern Europe.
