On Tuesday, Dec. 19, Press Secretary Joachim Deman and mom Evy were guests at the Warmest House in Bruges.

They were there on a vital mission: to recruit plasma donors. Because Evy her infant son needs plasma to survive. Because of his immune disease, even the flu would be deadly if he didn't get plasma medication.

So he can grow up worry-free only thanks to plasma donations from the voluntary donors of Belgian Red Cross-Flanders. But the demand for plasma is rising and the number of donors, unfortunately, is not.

So a warm call to come donate plasma!
