FAQ Donor Festival 2025
What is the Donor Festival?
With the Donor Party, Belgian Red Cross-Flanders puts its loyal donors in the spotlight. This year we thank our donors with a trip to Walibi amusement park!
Donors who came to donate at least 3 times between May 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025 can attend, along with 1 additional friend or family member (self-selected). Both blood, plasma and platelet donations count.
The celebration itself will take place on June 14 and 15, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Please note: Places for the Donor Festival are limited!
Who may come to the Donor Party?
Donors who came to donate to Belgian Red Cross-Flanders at least 3 times since May 1, 2024 , can reserve tickets for Saturday, June 14 or Sunday, June 15.
Failed and non-usable donations count, deferred or suspended donations do not count.
Have you not donated 3 times since May 1, 2024? You still have until April 30, 2025 to get your counter to 3. Can't manage that anymore? Then hopefully we'll welcome you to the Donor Festival next year!
Please note: Places for the Donor Festival are limited!
Will I also have access to Aqualibi?
No, the Donor Festival only takes place at Walibi. You can purchase an extra ticket locally at the Aqualibi box office itself or via https://www.walibi.be/aqualibi/nl/tickets - taking into account Aqualibi's capacity and waiting times.
What are the opening hours of the park?
The park is open between 10 am and 6 pm.
How can I register?
You can only register through the website www.rodekruis.be/donorfeest starting May 5, 2025. Registrations close on May 24, 2025. If all available tickets are already reserved before May 24, you will be placed on a waiting list.
Why do I have to pay a reservation fee of 5 euros per ticket?
A limited number of seats are available for the Donor Festival. To avoid people reserving tickets and not showing up, we charge a reservation fee. This way we make sure that as many donors who would like to come as possible can.
You pay the reservation fee of 5 euro/ticket online at the end of your registration. You pay with Bancontact. No payment = no registration.
Good news! Because your reservation cost will be refunded to you in the form of a consumption voucher of the same value. The consumption voucher can be used in Walibi's restaurants or mobile catering outlets for a drink or snack (be sure to read the exact conditions on the voucher itself). The consumption voucher is not valid in the shops/boutiques.
If you are unable to attend, you can cancel one or more tickets until May 28 and your reservation fee will be refunded within 7 business days. If the tickets are not cancelled before May 28, the reservation fee will not be refunded, the tickets will also remain valid.
I am on the waiting list, now what?
If all available tickets have already been distributed by May 24, you will be placed on the waiting list. Once others cancel their tickets, we will distribute them to the donors on the waiting list. Tickets will be sent out on May 30. So be sure to keep an eye on your mailbox/spam until then!
Are you on the waiting list and still can't attend the Donor Festival? Please unsubscribe yourself and/or +1 from the waiting list before May 28. You will need the access and verification code that you will find in your confirmation e-mail. Your reservation fee will be refunded within 7 working days.
If it turns out after May 30 that you will not be there, you will be notified personally and, of course, you will also be refunded your reservation fee.
How many tickets can I reserve?
New from last year: Each donor may reserve up to 2 tickets: one for themselves and 1 additional guest. This way we give more donors the chance to experience the party together with their friend or family member! Want to bring more people? You can! Starting May 30, your admission tickets will be sent out: On them is a unique web code that allows you to order additional tickets at the preferential rate of 31 euros per person(www.tickets-for-parks.be) until June 13.
Please note: the web code may not be distributed to third parties.
Please note: tickets are by name and therefore may not be passed on or resold.
Please note: persons smaller than 1 meter do not need a ticket.
Do I need to make reservations for persons smaller than 1 meter?
No, persons smaller than 1 meter do not need a ticket.
