Puddle Rides

Giving plasma can also be done in group!

You've probably heard the term "Puddle Rides" before? But what does that really mean?

What is a puddle marathon?

A plasma drive is an event organized for a minimum of two participants (donors) to drive together to the donation center and donate plasma. The Red Cross chapter provides free transportation to and from the center for the donors. The chapter schedules these events on days when a volunteer driver is available. Participants sign up for the ride and meet at a central location. The plasma ride departs from there so that both the donation and the round-trip can proceed smoothly and comfortably.

Why participate in a puddle marathon?

  • Do you enjoy teaching plasma together in a group?
  • Would you like the transportation and plasma appointment at the donor center scheduled for you?
  • Do you enjoy the cool chats with the other donors who come along on the puddle march?

Then contact the following departments that are currently organizing puddle rides:

Looking forward to seeing you soon at one of our donor centers!
