What to Do in the Event of Industrial Risks?
Accidents can occur near industrial areas, for example, involving hazardous substances. This can lead to fires, explosions, or a toxic cloud. Fortunately, such incidents are rare, but it’s important to know what to do if one occurs.
What should you do in the event of an incident?
Go inside
Don't stay outside; go inside as soon as possible.
Close the windows and doors
Make sure everything is properly sealed to minimize exposure.
Turn off the ventilation
Temporarily turn off any systems that bring outside air into the building.
Stay informed
Follow instructions via BE-Alert, the radio, and official channels.
Avoid contact with the substance
Do not touch precipitation, smoke, or unknown substances.
Help others when needed
Notify neighbors or family members who may not be aware of this.
