Symposium 'Bridge between school and home'
bridging the gap project
Education is an important lever to give socially vulnerable children better opportunities for the future. This is obviously not news to you.
The bridging the gap project of Belgian Red Cross-Flanders supports schools in this important mission. To this end, it deploys more than 500 volunteers who assist a child at home or at school. Moreover, the way in which our volunteers offer help has been scientifically substantiated.
Review of the symposium
More than 120 bridge figures, policy makers, scientists and pedagogues participated in the symposium "Bridge between school and home" on May 17, 2018 at the KBC Boerentoren in Antwerp to critically reflect together on the field and research surrounding the bridging the gap project of Belgian Red Cross-Flanders.
