International Cooperation

The international operation within Red Cross contains various components such as emergency relief, development cooperation, reception of applicants for international protection, tracking missing persons. In addition, the International Red Cross Committee is also active in developing and disseminating International Humanitarian Law.

Within the local Red Cross branch, one can also work around International Cooperation. As a volunteer, you can fill that in different ways:

  • Spreading International Red Cross news through your department newspaper, website, local media, department committee....
  • Liaise with other organizations in your municipality that work in the South, for example, the Municipal Development Council.
  • Assist recognized refugees waiting for family reunification as family coaches.
  • Joining a working group International Cooperation, or starting one yourself.
