This is how you contribute to this
As a volunteer PIT EMT, you will provide urgent patient transportation and support the PIT nurse. You make appropriate assessments of the condition of victims and the sick, and make necessary decisions. In addition, you take care of the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and medical equipment, and process the administration involved in urgent patient transport.
Specifically, how do you do this?
- You provide urgent patient transportation on ambulance.
- After a run-in period, it is possible to be deployed to the PIT.
- Yes makes assessments of the condition of victims and the sick and links appropriate decisions to this (assistance MUG, etc.).
- You process administration specific to urgent patient transport.
- You are prepared for deployment to emergencies and disasters.

Something for you?
- You have a valid certificate Urgent Medical Assistance (DGH).
- You are at least 21 years old.
- You have a driving license B or C (+ medical driving certificate)
- You dare to make decisions and take responsibility within the legal framework of your authority.
- You are empathetic, can work well in a team and know how to set the right priorities.
- You are eager to learn and willing to work permanently refresher course.
- You respect medical confidentiality and quickly create trust with patients.
- You are willing to work in a 7d to 7d and 24h to 24h on-call system and demonstrate the necessary flexibility.
- You find your way within the computer field.
