Regions Red Cross East Flanders
The Regional Committee is a body within the provincial level. The Regional Committees discuss and decide on executive matters of regional policy within the framework agreed upon at the provincial level.
Within the Regional Committees, departmental matters requiring broad support are also discussed.
The core tasks of the region are departmental guidance, preparation of general policy and supervision of its implementation.
The Regional Committee is composed of:
- the regional chairman
- one or two regional vice presidents
- the presidents of the sections belonging to that region
- The permanent delegates of the provincial disciplines to which the core departments belong, designated by the Provincial Committee.
The Region President may appoint a reporter to attend the Region Committee.
The provincial operation is divided into 4 regions. Each has its own Region Committee.
