What does it entail?

You take care of our participants with knowledge

  • Together with care volunteers, you will help them in the morning and evening with getting up, washing, dressing and undressing, ...
  • During the day, you will support our participants during activities, games, meals, outings, toilet visits, ...
  • You will supervise and coach our care volunteers.
  • As a caregiver with the appropriate qualification, you will assist nurses with medical procedures when necessary.

You also provide quality time
You get to know the participants personally. You take time for a chat, a game or other forms of relaxation. And you get a lot in return.

Belgian Red Cross-Flanders Provides necessary guidance and training

  • You can visit Belgian Red Cross-Flanders before, during and after the vacation or camp.
  • You can count on our vacation or camp director and on your fellow volunteers.
