Animator for WOW camps (+)
Everyone has a right to relaxation. Even children for whom it is less obvious. That's why Belgian Red Cross-Flanders organizes camps for:
- children with disabilities from socially vulnerable families (WOW camp +)
- children from socially vulnerable families (WOW camp)
Among other things, we are looking for animators to join us as volunteers. Something for you?
Do you recognize yourself in this?
- between 18 and 35 years of age
- 1 week (or longer) you can set yourself free
- creative team player, full of ideas and enthusiasm, with a heart for children
- healthy portion of patience and relatability
- You preferably have a certificate 'Animator in youth work'. Or you take the training before you leave.
Have you already been to WOW camp as an animator or logistician and can't wait to participate again?
What does it entail?
During our WOW camps and WOW camps+, we create a carefree environment where they can just be kids. And where play and fun take center stage. Fancy joining your fellow animators and the other volunteers in giving them an unforgettable adventure?
You develop the animation activities
You work on the camp theme, you put together the most fun beach and forest games with your fellow animators and you guide the group with full enthusiasm. The children love you and you do everything you can to make them happy.
You help the care volunteers
Are you going on WOW camp+? Then where necessary you will lend a hand in the daily care of children with disabilities.
Belgian Red Cross-Flanders Provides necessary guidance and training
- You attend a number of training and preparatory days free of charge at Belgian Red Cross-Flanders.
- Your participation in the camp counts for 30 internship hours for your "Animator in Youth Work" certificate.
- You can count on our camp manager and your fellow animators and volunteers.
