New provincial command vehicle proposed
It took a while but our new provincial command vehicle (CP-Med) is now here. This Renault Master was converted by the specialized firm ABTechnics from Malle and equipped with the most modern communication equipment. On Sept. 5, the command vehicle was presented at the provincial government building in the presence of, among others, provincial governor Jos Lantmeeters and deputies Bert Lambrechts, Inge Moors, Igor Philtjens and Tom Vandeput. In addition to delegates from the three sponsoring companies and some of the media, Red Cross-Limburg was represented by provincial chairman Willy Van de Wauw, provincial manager relief service Bart Wathiong, team members Boris Huber, Tom Ketelslegers and Andy Velle of the relief service, provincial head doctor Marc Vanpoecke and provincial PR & Werver Jos Dessers.
Red Cross-Limburg once again thanks Chevron Phillips Chemicals International nv (with branches in Beringen and Tessenderlo), Sumitomo Bakelite Europe nv (Genk) and Futech bv (Tessenderlo) for their valued sponsorship.
