Lender
Are you at least 16 years old, sociable and enjoy working in a group? Then a volunteer position as a lender may be for you. As a lender, you are active in a lending point and take care of library operations there. You distribute materials to the patients or residents and also provide a listening ear for the patients and residents of the care facility.
Reading parent
You enjoy reading aloud, working with children or the elderly, are sociable and at least 16 years old. Do you recognize yourself in this profile? Then you are the perfect candidate for reading aloud. Both children and the elderly are sometimes unable to read a book themselves. Reading aloud can be a good alternative, both in groups and individually. Afterwards you can discuss books together. You also participate in activities with and around books or audiovisual materials.
Lending Point Manager library service for hospitals and care institutions
Do you already have experience within the operation of a lending point and are at least 18 years old? Then you can take on a responsible position. A lending point manager is responsible for the organization and management of a lending point.
- You ensure smooth operation;
- You are a point of contact;
- You follow up with volunteers;
- You provide a good collection that meets the needs of readers;
- You follow up on the administration of the lending point.
