In charge of guard
The person in charge of watch can be reached by calling Central Dispatching at 105.
To ensure the permanent availability of the leaders of our provincial relief service , members of the provincial staff take turns, taking on the role of person in charge of watch for one week at a time.
During business hours, this role is assumed by the Provincial Emergency Coordinator or the person in charge of Central Dispatching.
The person in charge of watch is the first point of contact for Central Dispatching in case of alarm or emergency service related questions and orders.
Also, the intervention of the person in charge of watch is mandatory in case of accidents with wounded persons involving a Red Cross vehicle or in case of a death on a preventive action. In case of urgent problems, which cannot be solved locally, departmental leaders can call on the person in charge of watch.
